Planning To Move

Me and my family are planning move to Port Angeles Wa. this summer. How are they with different races?
Me and my husband are Mexican and are legally here I am an Arizona native and he is from California and we live in a small town right now and the heat here is just unbearable.I have family in Washington that we are going to visit and depending on how it goes we plan to move.I was just wondering how welcoming are the natives of Port Angeles to new people.I know there is racism every were you go, I know here in the little town I live in its more in certain parts then others. If someone could please answer me truthfully ,Please no jokes or wise cracks.
You will fit right in. I am from Seattle. There is very very little racism there. You will come across one or two who are racist but it is usually against the Native Americans since they are a larger population up there and still have quite a few reservation areas, but those people are far a few.
I moved to Texas almost two years ago to survive what we saw was going to be a tough economy and boy were we right on that, but I hate it here. People here are so reverse racist it is unbelivable. In my entire life I have never experienced this type of tension and talk like I here down here.
As soon as the economy is better, I am out of here. I want to go back North where people do not see race or skin color just American or Friend from another country.
BTW, my children are of mixed race, I am angelo and ex was 1/2 native american and 1/4 hispanic, and 1/4 angelo and never did my children or I experience any issues with race.
One thing to consider most is the weather. A lot of people from sunny areas have a very hard adjustment to the cold and dreary weather after a couple of years. I actually miss the cold and rain.
Looking forward to going home again.
